Cookie Policy
Last updated: 20 April 2026
**Last updated:** 19 April 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Trobare uses when you browse trobare.com, what we use them for and how you can manage your consent. It forms part of the Privacy Policy and Legal Notice of the site.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. It allows the site to remember information about you (such as your language or whether you are logged in) across different pages or visits.
Besides cookies as such, there are other similar technologies with comparable functions, such as your browser's **LocalStorage**. Legally, these technologies are subject to the same information and consent obligations as cookies (Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI-CE). In this policy we refer to them together.
2. Types of cookies we use
At Trobare we use four categories of cookies:
**Necessary.** Essential for the site to work (login, security, language, recording your cookie choice). They do not require consent.
**Preferences.** Remember your filters and search preferences to improve your experience. Require consent.
**Analytics.** Help us understand how you use the site, what works and how to improve the product. Require consent.
**Marketing.** Let us measure the performance of our advertising campaigns and, where applicable, show personalised ads. Require consent.
The first time you visit Trobare you will see a banner where you can accept all cookies, reject them all or configure them by category. Only necessary cookies are activated without your consent.

5. How to manage or withdraw your consent
**From Trobare.** The first time you visit the site, a banner lets you accept, reject or configure cookies by category. You can change your choice at any time through the **"Cookie settings"** link in the footer.
**From your browser.** You can also block or delete cookies directly from your browser settings. Note that blocking necessary cookies may cause parts of the site to stop working correctly.

Rejecting or withdrawing consent is as easy as granting it, and we do not penalise you for doing so.
6. Retention periods
Each cookie has the duration indicated in the tables in section 3. In any case, your consent is valid for a maximum of 12 months: after that period, we will ask you again.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect technical changes, new services or legal changes. The version in force is always the one published on the site, with its last updated date. If we add cookies from new categories, we will ask for your consent again before activating them.
